JOLLY ANIMALS – Set 2

Elephants

Elephants, our big-eared and trunked friends, live in herds and families in Asia and Africa. They protect and control each other. They, like us, get along very well with their aunts, siblings and cousins. They like to lift their bodies and dive into the water.

Pandas

Pandas top our list of the cutest animals. They live in only one country in the world: China! Like us, they have close ties to family and friends. Their favorite food is bamboo and they wander around all day long.

Crocodiles

Our reptile friends, crocodiles, hatch from eggs after a three-month incubation period. They live in rivers and lakes in regions with a temperate climate. They love sunbathing in the mud. They have 80 teeth in their powerful jaws, and just like we replace our baby teeth, they replace the teeth they lose throughout their lives.

Zebras

Our black and white striped friends, zebras, live in the grasslands of Africa. Just as our fingerprints are unique, each one has a unique stripe pattern. They love to eat grass and are very greedy, which makes them very thirsty, but unfortunately in Africa they sometimes have to walk for miles to find water.
